Laggy possibly memory problems...

so just recently my computer has decided it sucks....

imagine opening My Documents, and when you scroll down rather than smoothly scroll the icons disappear then re-appear a little bit further down a bunch of times till i get where im goin

same with say a msn messenger chat window, i go to move it and it either duplicates or disapears and re-appears a little further in the direction im moving it - do you get what i mean?

i downloaded all up to date drivers for my ATI radion 9800 graphics card, have the correct drivers for my monitor, have 2g RAM and loads of space on my hard drive and only have no programmes running in the backgroun (other than messenger) WASSUP!? thx in advance!

 

First, download Spybot Search and Destroy and AdAwareSE, both are available on MajorGeeks download page. Update each, before running them. Post back if this doesn't help your problems!
