I want to print a document in Landscape mode
Using MS Office (Word) Online for Win 7
Setup to print in Landscape (horizontal) mode, insert popped up about PDF. If I do not confirm message, it will not print. If I do confirm message it prints in portrait (vertical) format.
Went to control panel. opened printer, set to print in Landscape mode. Same situation, and results.:)banghead

Set the print from within the browser where the online doc/pdf appears.
File then Print then Properties aside of the selected printer.

Check with Print Preview to see if it shows correctly.

Re: Does I does, or does I doesn't?

Ooops..part of my posting is missing

When I set up print job, and selected print, this popped up pertaining to PDF "PDF is ready. Click here to view PDF of document"
If I do not click that, job will not print, but if I do click it, the print job will not print in Landscape mode. It uses Portrait format
Went to Control Panel, selected my printer. Set printer for Landscape. Same results.

If it's a PDF printer, which one are you using?

    HI

I see whats happening, the default seems to be when printing with Office Word Online, is to open a PDF, what I would do with your doc is to Save As and save to your desktop.

Then right click and choose Print, then change your orientation.

You should be able to do this with Word Online, even with the PDF as when it opens click Print then choose your Printer, then Properties, but if you cannot get this to work, then while Office Online is good, it may not be the easiest for you, so one of the other suggestions given for a Microsoft Office type free software will work ok, or can create the doc in Office Online then download, as they save to OneDrive your docs are stored online, the use the Word Viewer app to print.

I'd be tempted if you dont want to pay for the Full Office desktop version to use WPS that was suggested HERE
