Language Bar Icon Missing

After having success getting my sound icon back (see thread 108075), I would like to get back the language bar icon that also went missing from the taskbar. I think these things may have disappeared when I ran the issues tab of CCleaner and fixed some things. However, maybe it was independent of this, because despite the fact that I did a registry backup and put the backup back in, it did not correct the problems.

What I've found so far is that there is a problem known to Microsoft of the language bar icon disappearing, and they have a fix for it which they don't give out willingly and which may be available through SP2. Since I already have SP2, I don't know if it would be a good idea to try and download it again or if it would even be possible.

This looks like a registry change and I wondered what it does? Are these entries that should be there? Are they entries that should be installed?

Does anyone know an easier way to fix this missing icon? It's unfortunately not a simple option to go into Region and Language Options and click it back on. The preferences aren't there anymore.

right click in a space on your desktop taskbar point to toolbars and click language bar.

 

That doesn't work, because the language bar is no longer an option. That's why I was wondering if the idea I posted, which involves changing the registry, would work.
