   I used to know:
   I had to reinstall windows:
   The "language bar" at the bottom of Windows...I keep unclicking it as I don't want it. It keeps coming back each time I log on. How do I make it go away?

   Greeknasty Private First Class

   the language bar is a part of Office XP. If you right click on it and goto options. Then goto language bar setting and uncheck the "show language bar on desktop" it will go away until you tell it to come back up again.
