laptop battery

    Hello everyone, my question is I have replaced my laptop battery however the new batt is not charging. When I place my mouse over the batt icon it says that it is pluggin, not charging....what should I do?

    I did run out the new batt per instructions and plugged in the AC power but it is not recharging.

    Do you have the old one? did you tried to charge the old one again?
