    I have a Acer Aspire 5335,

single core Celeron 585 socket P@ 2.16 GHz, 667 FSB

    2GB DDR2 RAM

    Acer CathedralPeak (U2E1) motherboard

Windows Vista Home Basic 32 bit

i want to upgrade my cpu to a Intel Core 2 Duo T8300, or really any type of dual core processor that I can, my main concerns are the FSB speed differences and my BIOS.

I'm a bit of a nube, but ive read that i need to make sure that the CPU will fit and i know it will its socket P but have also read I may need to upgrade my BIOS, how will i know if i need to? If i do need to where will i get the new BIOS from?
I already went to the Acer downloads and the only BIOS there is actually older than the current one i have. I have Phoenix Technologies LTD v1.10.

Please help, I have searched and searched and I've found some helpful information but not a lot on the BIOS or FSB information. Thank you, any suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated.

Also the electricity usage of my stock processor is 31W and the Core2Duo T8300 and T8100 are 35W, would that be a problem as well?
