    Hello All
I made a thread a few days ago asking what exactly I would need for a friend who needs a constant internet connection whilst travelling around. I was pointed towards a Cellular Modem, to which I looked on ebay for and now found this...

I am wondering is this Is what I need to have in order to be able to dialup to the internet anywhere where theres sufficiant mobile signal?
    Thanks in advanceE

Something like that is needed, but keep in mind he will still have to pay for a data plan from his mobile phone provider. You usually CAN get onto their network with a normal phone plan, but once they realize you're using the network for internet data, they will freeze the account and make you pay for a data plan.

Ask the mobile phone provider about their plans, and then buy a card that supports their network (since they will want to sell you one for a ridiculous markup)
