Laptop for friend

    I don't have the energy to do a major search right now.....

    Please recommend for me a best deal laptop for around $1000 USD. Hyperlinks appreciated.

    www.powernotebooks.com is a good place. They sell the same computers as Alienware, but for much cheaper.

    Also, you can't discount Dell. I've not known anyone who was unhappy with their Dell laptop. www.dell.com
