    I haven't seen many laptops that the video "card" can be replaced or changed.

    Perhaps you should have bought the "card" that the site you bought the laptop from recommended.

    I own 3 but overrall, they're as rare as hen's teeth, probably less than 1% of laptop models ever made have this facility.

    Kippin, your HP has an Intel chip on the motherboard that supplies the graphics output, no way to upgrade it.

    satrow, are you sure? I asked someone at HP about three times if I can replace that with a PCI graphics card of my choosing, and they said yes, but you would void your warranty.
