I have a laptop that has malware that won't let me boot up.

I have taken the hard drive out and have connected to a desktop using a sata to usb converter.

I can see the hard drive in my computer, but when I try to access the laptop hard drive a window pops up asking if I want to format it.

I have tried this using another laptop as well with the same results.

The desktop and laptop use NTFS formatting that I am using to access the malware hard drive.

The malware hard drive came from a Dell Latitude E6320.

I have most of the malware hard drive backed up exept for the last couple of weeks. I want to back up that portion before working on it.

    Any ideas?

All that you are going to do is spread the malware from the laptop hard drive to the desktop hard drive now. Think of it as walking into a room full of people with the flu, and you have not gotten your flu shot this year, and your immune system is not the best.

This is exactly what you are doing to your desktop at this time.
