Laptop in the Microwave!

This site has what happens when you put a Laptop in the Microwave! and they dont stop there, its also got like 10 cd's on a layer of tinfoil to see how they respond in the microwave. and a bunch of other things

The CDs were awesome with the sparking and noise. It's cool how the screen lit up on the laptop, but it would've been awesome if it still turned on. That thing survived at least a minute.

 

I wonder if they know that they can cook in it, too?

 

I wish i could afford to do that to this sometimes (& often!)

 

i think the cd's on a layer of tinfoil were my favorite as well, but that laptop was insane too, which one did you guys like the most?

 

I might just have to go home and try some of those!!! haha not!!!

 

I keep getting a 404 error, something happened at the site. Oh well.

Reminds me of when my dad tried to use the old micro to dry out some wood carving he was doing (called kilning). The house smelled like burnt wood for weeks. He started with a pear shaped item he had turned onthe lathe, ended up with a cinder in the mniddle of the micro.... my mom finally got a new micro out of the deal tho (they had that one for over 20 years and it still works great (got moved to the garage for warming up coffee when working out there, gives it a pleasant smokey taste now )

thats actually really interesting, just out of curiosity, how long does it take for the wood in the microwave? I'm sure that it matters based on the size of the wood, but if you could just ballpark the number? i might be interested in trying that
