laptop is junk, looking to use screen with dvd player

    18.4 inch toshiba laptop no longer works. I want to know if it is possible to use the screen for something else? first option that would be great is if i could use it with my CAR DVD System... is it possible?

    any ideas what to do with a nice screen if the laptop no longer works?

    Unless you are an electronics genius I suspect the answer is no. The input cables are bespoke for each laptop. Unless you can find a pinout diagram and create the circuitry to map your source device output to the screen intput and power the screen it wont work
