Laptop Keyboard Not Working

I have a Samsung R730 laptop with Windows 10. My keyboard has been playing up for the last couple of days. Several of the keys are not working and some of the other keys are doing the wrong thing e.g pressing shift types the * symbol. I have checked the keyboard driver and it is up to date. Don't really know where to go from here.
