   I've had my gateway mx6028 for roughly seven years now. My uncle got them for me, my two sisters and my three cousins and mine is the only one still working. Is it time for a new one?

   I have had a laptop that is at least that old. The hard drive died, but I replaced it and added more memory. It is still going strong. So unless you have a real need to upgrade, carry on.
