Laptop not restarting.

    FS Amilo Pro V2040

    I did have recent shut-down issues where the lappy was rebooting instead of shutting down but now it's the other way around (which seems safer but still puzzling)

    Any ideas geeks? confused:major

    That link refers to issues with shut down.

    It's shutting down fine as stated, but stays shut and I have to manually hit the power button to boot it up even when using the restart function.
