laptop performance issue

hey all

odd problem with my computer. it started a week ago when i used dvdfab decrypter to burn a disk which took a while. after that burning disks is taking much longer to do, and some dvd's are playing slow on my laptop so unable to watch them.

my computer is core 2 duo 2ghz and was fine before the mentioned incident. any ideas? the computer is newish but wanted to avoid sending it back.

Cool! Keep an eye on the system for the next couple of days. Some malware can be pretty persistent.
