Laptop Problem

Ok so, I was on my laptop on the dell website and my friend had a screwdriver and was talking to me and barely touched it to a usb port on the side of my laptop, as he did that the laptop went dead with no noises nore flashes, just turned off and does not turn on nor make any sign of life anymore. does anyone have any ideas what is wrong and/or how i can fix it? thanks.

 

Make, model and age of the laptop may help us, but it doesn't sound good as to the fate of your laptop. If you are insured under "fusion" then you may be able to claim on your insurance, if not ................. Bazza
