Laptop question

    I'm looking for a P4 laptop with CD ROM on the left side in the back.... AND USB ports in the back.

    I built a project system around a compal DCY30 laptop base, and right when I finished the project, the motherboard has an overheating problem that I can't seem to solve. It heats up after a minute or so and then reboots. Adequate air flow, two different processors, thermal paste the whole nine yards.

    Look at your laptop, if it is a p4 and has the rom drive toward the back on the left side please tell me what make and model it is.
