    Hello,
The last months my laptop became slower and slower.
I saw the C-drive was quite full, so I moved all my files and pictures and everything to an external drive. But still the C-drive seems very full and the laptop is still extremely slow.
When I start the laptop I always first gett a black screen with a warning. In blue is written I have to press enter in order to start the laptop. If I don't press enter, the laptop shuts down again.

So I ran all the scans I read about in Read first. In attachment you can find the logs ect.

I hope we can fix this... Thanks allready for reading my message and helping me out.
    Kind regards,
    Veerle

I am not seeing any malware. Slowness can be caused by any number of things. I would first suggest you delete all the Temp files and then use Task Manager to control your start up programs of which there are many. ( Look at MGLogs and the hijack this log....04's are all the running processes. )

I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

    Dear Tim,
Thank you so much for your help! I followed your instructions. Couldn't find Hijack This though. Now I'll continue trying to make my laptop faster again.
    Have a nice day ;-)
    Kind regards,
    Veerle
