Laptop recommendations

one of the laptops i mostly used got ruined by my niece a couple of days ago, it flew off a balcony and the rest is history.

It seems mostly the screen and hinge got ruined but i am not going to bother fixing it because its kind of older now and i can get something ''ok''.

My preferences for this laptop is 10.1 inches, slim, nice track pad and a low powered dual core or quad core processor.

I didn't really want to spend over $100 and being realistic this probably isn't going to be a brand new factory sealed model. The hard drive space and memory isn't too important since i have some spare however i hate buying laptops that require taking off the keyboard in order to reach the memory or hard drive.

Not sure if i can manage to get a small laptop with an atom n2800 or Z3735F for $100.

Anyone have some suggestions?

The laptop was mostly just going to be used for internet, email , documents, and maybe just a little video streaming.

I really didn't want to spend more than the low $100 range because well i already have another laptop which is around 15'' and well above average so i just needed this one for the size and tasks i mentioned above because i needed something light and portable.

I really don't need a touchscreen either i mean if there is a model that is cheap in price with it and just about the same as one without then then ill go with a touchscreen.

I don't like anything that uses a chrome OS and cannot be customized with windows or linux.

Kind of kicking myself for not buying a ASUS X205TA 3 months ago for $100 brand new... i had the chance to but i said to myself i don't need another laptop now. It did cross my mind buying it and storing it in case i needed a thin laptop like it in the near future..

I really prefer intel over amd unless the price is right

I have 2 X200 tablets, it's successor. There is not much difference between the two except the X61 has a 4:3 screen and the X200 has a 16:9 screen. I get about 5-6 hours on a battery and the magnesium case takes a lot of abuse, as my sons will attest. A major sticking point may be the lack of a trackpad but the trackpoint thing wasn't hard to get used to. They're old but I'm impressed by how well they perform even compared to current laptops.

 

I was probably going to buy 2nd hand anyways, and the price seems fluctuating

Do you have hands on experience with this laptop?

I noticed it doesn't have the left and right buttons on the trackpad, i know its touchscreen but should that ever fail i could still use the trackpad but i am not sure how right ''cllick'' and left ''click'' are activated on this one.

Also i was probably planning on removing whatever standard hard drive it came with and putting a spare SSD i have, i noticed in some of the comments that this thing doesn't seem its all simplistic to pry open. I wanted something simplistic to change wifi cards, hard drives, memory by simply just removing screws from the bottom and hopefully having access to such things from there.
