Laptop slow loading windows and locks up

Hello, the guys over in malware sent me here after they helped me.
My problem began after my laptop was infected with virus,malware etc.
When I turn on my laptop, it takes several minutes for the login screen to come up. When it comes up and i type in my password, it takes a very long time for windows to load. When I try to do a system restore it tells me that it has been turned off by group policy which I did not do. Also most of the time the laptop just locks up and will not do anything I have to then power it off. I wanted to put laptop back to the state it was bought in, but the repair my computer option doesnt work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

What would be helpful is for you to tell us all the required information about your Laptop!
who made it?
how old is it?
what OS are you running on it?
how much ram do you have?
how much free space is on your hard drive?
Have you run "Disk Cleanup" and/or defrag, lately? and, if not, why not?
do you run your laptop on its internal battery, or with an external AC Power Supply?

Just curious! If I had your laptop here on my repair bench, I would have to answer all those questions for myself before I ever started any repair. The Devil is in the details.
