laptop tv

Can anyone tell me how I can connect my laptop to my tv. Thanks

 

you need a pc tuner card or a stand alone device that connect via usb if you are talking about watching tv through your pc

 

if you just want to use your tv as a big monitor , you need either s video, rca, vga cables to connect to the jacks on you computer, the newer laptops and tv can be connected by hdmi cables if you laptop is equipped with them

Thanks for the re: . I have a new presariof750us with vista and it has a s video. I did not go to the control panel and reconfig the display options . I will try that. Thanks
