    Hi

Girlfriend's Windows 10 64bit lenovo ideapad 100. Has been running very slow for as long as she can remember. Few years old, I think. No obvious signs it's viruses. Have gone through read me n run to check.

    Logs attached

    Cheers

    Please remove these in ADW:
    ***** [ Registry ] *****

    PUP.Optional.Conduit HKCU\Software\Conduit
    PUP.Optional.Conduit HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Conduit

Rerun Hitman and remove what it finds ( Conduit )

Reboot and rescan with ADWCleaner and Hitman and attach the new logs.

    Please find attached.

Was nothing to remove after Hitman scan (did ADW scan before it and removed Conduit, so that's perhaps why?)

    Cheers

Yes, but we always want to be sure. How are things running now?

Still very slow. I guess it's not viruses then.

A slow computer can be caused by many things. I suggest you post in the software forum to pursue that issue.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
