I have a weird issue with my wifi card. I have an intel wifi link 5100 agn on a 3 year old hp dv8t running windows 7 64 bit. recently, the adapter has decided that despite showing that it's working, will not detect networks. It's spotty when it's on, occasionally detecting and then forgetting. however, once I disable and re-enable the adapter, it doesn't detect anything.

Then, I try it on safe mode with networking, and I've had uninterrupted access for 20 minutes now. What should I do? Drivers are fully updated, I've tried rolling them back, and nothing seems to change anything. Any ideas?
