Laptop wont load into windows

when i turn it on it will go into that 30 second countdown for picking safe mode, normal, last thing that worked etc. so whichever one i pick it will go to the loading windows screen then it will get a blue screen of death saying something about "unmountable_boot_volume" then reset itself and come back to the same 30 second countdown window - rinse and repeat.


i have tried to reformat it but the only way i know how is to have a windows CD in during startup and have it set to boot from cd but it still ignores the cd and carries on to the 30second thing.


anyone know what to do to fix this or other way to reformat computer maybe

 

If you tap "F2" or "F8" or the "delete"key during the boot sequence it varies from PC to PC it will take you into the bios where you can change it to boot first from CD/DVD and then put your disk in and re-boot.
