Is it possible without damageeing my laptop (CF-25) to overclock it.

 

Yes but heat is a real prob. and if you do OC you prolly wont notice a defrance What are the spec BTW ?

 

120 mhz intel, i dont know the bus speed and there are no heat sensors in it. its using pheonix BIOS

 

Oh its a 120Mhz my frind has a 120Mhz laptop running 133 and i dont think heat is a big prob...... BTW to OC it you most likely have to take it apart.........and you still prolly wont see a notacable speed boost.............

On some CF-25's it'sextremely easy to overclock and processor swap. On mine (CF_25 EAM, or MKIII) all I had to do is mod a 233 and now I can run NLited XP pro SP2. Mind you, I had to cut the BF0 and BF1 pins off and solder a 4700 ohm resistor on the top of the PPGA (Plastic bodied chip) to VIO, but IF you can solder, it's a snap. And since the case is made of AluMag, the lil sucker doesn't get much warmer since the entire back of the case is it's heat sink.

 

Is it possible to Overclock? yes, but you REALLY want to do a 233mhz processor swap. That will run safe as houses, and you will be happiest with the results!
