best,price,performance,ram, eyesight is now at hunt and peck with spell check my safety net.

I like ASUS Vivobooks. If your eyes are bad, I'd look at a 15" screen , at the least. The 8GB of RAM is sufficient for my needs, and the unit at the link below has more storage than mine (I use a pair of external WD harddrives).

May I ask why you want a laptop? If eyesight is a problem, you may consider a console (they do have small PCs if space is an issue) and attach a large monitor with the size cranked up high and a keyboard that is yellow with black lettering to help you see the keys better.

Apologies. I failed to mention that I use a USB keyboard and 27" monitor with my laptop which, together, cost $16 at a local thrift store. If cost is a concern, try the thrift stores and pawn shops in your area.
