laptops..??

hi,
i want to buy a laptop.. i`m new in teh laptop field.. i jsut wanna which is good.. i`m lookign at a budget around.. $1000-$1500. .do u think i will get something good in this range??

maybe, because the laptops cant have that good of a processor. the highest i ever saw was an amd turion x2

 

Depends on what you use it for. Do you want to be able to burn dvd's on it? Or just be able to view them? All laptops I see nowadays have at least a cd-rw/dvd drive. Which lets you burn cd's and read dvd's. Most come with a minimum of 512 megs of memory. If you get one with only 512 make sure that it has another slot if you want to add more later. My daughters each have laptops with only 512 megs and it runs fine for what they want. Email, web surfing and school reports.
