Large AVI files cause WMP to crash

    Cannot seem to open these large avi files i have in either windvd or WMP 9....just get a error message and can't figure it out...files are about 750 meg

    AMD Athlon 64 3000+

    1gb ram

    X700 256 PCI E video card

    SATA 200 gb HDD
