Lavasoft´s new add-on TweakSE allows the alterion and "tweaking" of Settings as well as making GUI alterations available to the user. TweakSE works with all Ad-Aware SE versions.

The following options are available via the Tweak SE add-on:
User Interface Modifications include:
Hide the text information (Status lines)
Hide flashing bug after scan
Hide MRU items on detailed statistics
Use IE Icon for Browser Hijack Objects (regardless of reference-type)
Show WebUpdate GUI during automated updates
AdAware window caption
Scanning Engine Modifications include:
Flag all encoded url references as possible browser hijack attempt
Flag all unrecognized Alternate Data Streams
Skip IE Cache (Temporary Internet Files) folder during scan
Skip System Restore folder during scan
Additional Options include:
Validate folders after editing AdAware Preferences
Skip automated saving of clean Logfiles
Delay (seconds) if delayed loading is active
Append "this" text to Logfile
Please Note: If Settings have been modified, AdAware should be restarted after the Plug-in closes.

TweakSE Preferences can be exported by using the following registry key (export the entire key):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE
