Lcd - 20"

I'm in the market for a new 20" wide screen LCD. Currently in my area, there's a Sceptre and a ViewSonic on sale. Both are 20"WS, both have 1000:1 ratios and 5ms response time, both cost $179.99. I have never used a Sceptre, but I have used several ViewSonic CRTs over the years and they've always been great monitors, and ViewSonic has a pretty good reputation. So, I'm looking for any input from the folks here at MG.

i have a 19" sceptre I just put on the wifes pc and I just got a sceptre 24" widescreen both perform very well and have excellent picture quality. the 19" was a gift from family but it worked so nice I went with one again. Just my 2 cents worth

 

Do you like Dell products?

They have a great assortment of refurbished products for cheap. They are more expensive then the ones above. Just thought I'd put it in..

No. I freekin' HATE Dell. Sorry, but I really, really do.... but I did check that link and they're selling refurb items (meaning used and cleaned up a bit) for more than brand new items.....

 

I went with the ViewSonic.....
Thanks for your input people, but the deciding factor was that the Sceptre was no longer on sale, and the store selling the ViewSonic is MUCH closer to my house.
