LCD Justifaction

I read a while ago (1 year or so) a report about cost vs utilities report compairing LCD's and CRT's. It compaired the cost of running the two monitors (electric, btu output). Does anyone possibly have a copy of this report stored somewhere or know where I could get it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know about a cost justification on the power consumption and time to failure of the screens but many firms use a desk space justification for LCDs, i.e., they can cram in more employees-per-area since an LCD takes up less real estate than a CRT. Thus leading to a cost saving on renting out less office space.

Only things to note:
If you plan on gaming, look for monitors with low "Pixel response time". 12 to 16 ms is optimal for gaming, whereas 25ms will result in visible ghosting to most users. The lower the time, the better the display reacts to the screen image changing quickly.
