lcd monitor

    I`ve got a Westinhouse 20.1" monitor and when I first start my computer
    it comes on for just a min. then goes black. The green led stayed on yet
    nothing.What part does this monitor need?

    If you boot into safe mode does the monitor stay on?

    Thank you for your reply.
    No, it doesn`t get thru the boot screen,but the green led will stay on.
    I was told that it was a backlight problem.
    Would anyone know a place to order the tubes for this model Westinghouse LCM-20v5?
