lcd monitors

    I am about to purchase a new monitor. Which is the best configuration for general use (and some gaming) 12ms 250 brightness 500:1 contrast OR
    25ms 250 brightness 700:1 contrast???
    Why?

    Not too good with monitors, I'm in the buying and looking department too...

    But ms is milliseconds for responce time. That means how fast the screen will "load" the images. And when gaming it is important that it is fast, or you will experience sort of a shadow of things that move fast on the screen.

    So for gaming I would go with the 12 ms.

    The other settings I'm not sure of though.
