It’s simple imo. If your Bank, credit card company or anyone else phones you & asks you for personal information like PIN numbers, CCV number, passwords or to download software then it’s a scam.

 

Never respond to any unsolicited contact of any kind from anyone.
This applies to all platforms : email, SMS, Social Media, etc.
This especially includes clicking links in dodgy websites, links in PM's from members you dont know etc.

Never give out sensitive information (passwords, card numbers, names/addresses and the likes) to anyone asking online.
No matter how enticing the request may be, dont fall for it......Remember the old saying : If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
(Facebook and Youtube do not have any nude photo's/video's of you unless YOU uploaded them, or a disgruntled ex partner did)

P.S When it comes to Majorgeeks you are fairly safe, but beware of PM's from TimW asking for cake!
