Legit XP failed after update...

A client hired me to repair and cleanup his kid's seriously abused tower and OS.. Compaq, XP, 256R, 1-meghtz, 40-gig...

Philips CDRW not working, so I donloaded drivers, and flashed...

Went into microsoft update from my IP, and it seems their system doesn't see this valid XP PC as legite... The affixed XP validation sticker and purchase receipts are all legitimate, but it seems that the microsoft system saw it as pirate, and planted dll's as boot viruses, and worse... Now the XP hd seems to be totally trashed...

So I tried one of my many W98se hd's in the box, and it is super messed-up too.. 12 colors, and safe modish???

So I installed a clean hd, formatted it, pulled the battery for a couple hours, and loaded W98, but somehow the box still held the time and date..??... 98 worked fine till I installed TinyPersonalFirewall, then suddenly the system says there is no CDRW installed.. the CD is off the map..?

Why would the microsoft system destroy someones PC like this?..
Is it that microsift is working on squeezing every penny from humanity as it can..? Microsoft seems like a great souless tyrant...
Even if this XP compaq was pirate, which it's not, I bet microsoft spends more resources trying to deal with piracy than it looses from piracy...
They've got to learn, that the Only reason they exist is because humanity buys their products, the por people too... Microsoft has got to learn a little respect for humanity, or they will one day soon lose it all for being so careless, vindictive, evil, and destructive... It's as if microsoft has a little Internet war going on out there... Could it be that the real war going on is merely an echo, a result of microsoft's cyber-war..? Is microsoft about to destroy all humanity in its money-sucking vile careless loveless destructive wake..?

Humanity needs to learn that there is more than just the money system, and the legal system, in reality, or one day humanity won't be a humanity... This crazy tight world has to learn how to bend, like soft people are flexible and fragile... Industry must realize that there is more to living than treasure and violence...


Any ideas how I can get this microsoft-damaged tower's CD and OS back up and running..? I'm lucky to earn 500-bucks a month, being 60, and stuck in this little helltown with a 200-buck pension... I need to fix this guy's PC to get paid for half the ten hours I've put into it... Microsoft had no right to destroy this PC!.. Microsoft has become evil... Not a good thing to do to a little sorcerer...
