Lenovo Laptop Lcd Darkens And Brightens

I am facing the exact issue here:

my lcd basically auto darkens and brightens when it wants to, i updated drivers and same issue.

The laptop is a yoga 2 11
windows 8.1 64 bit

the dim and lit wasn't a problem until i deleted a couple of things, this computer was deeply infested with a lot of adware, and PUPs.

I checked some files in the registry that it wanted to remove that lenovo preinstalled
Not sure if removing some of them caused an issue

i then quarantined the files from the registry i wasn't sure about but issue still persists with dim and lit lcd

By the way this laptop was a victim of the 2014-2015 lenovo scandal because it was everything on it that i read online about
