Let us speed this beast up!

Howdy all,

I've just acquired a new Alienware 17 (spec below), but it is loading crazy slow. I suspect it is the lack of an SSD, but I'd really like to speed it up somewhat. Don't get me wrong, gaming it is ultra everything, but the first 90 seconds of its life are SLOW.
