Let's try this again: any Outlook PST file experts out there?

I'm trying to either "import" or simply "copy and paste" a backed up copy of my PST file into Outlook, after reinstalling Office 2000.

I've never used a "Personal Folders Password" with Outlook.....but the program keeps asking me for one, whether I try to "Import" the .pst file, OR "copy and paste" it.

    Any tips, guys?
    Thanks,
    Michael

I've used Outlook once before, about a hundred years ago so I could be REALLY missing the boat here...but did you try to hit the Space-Bar or Enter and see what happens at the prompt for the password?

In that thread, I posted the default location of the Outlook PST files. If you're having trouble importing the PST files, please be a bit more clear on what the problem is. Have you located the backed up files? Have you tried to import them? Is it at this point that you're asked for a password?
