Hi, I was just really curious what does the letter after the speed on intel processors means? I was looking at newegg, and there like 3.2E GHZ, and 3.2C GHz, whats the difference? Thanks.

The differance is the size of the cache the E is 1mb, the C is 512kb.

E stands for Intel "Prescott Core" Processors

C goes for Intel "NorthWood Core" Processors

A was for the old Willamette Core

EE stands for "extreme edition" a souped up Northwood Core with 2Mb of L3 Cache
