LG Electronics GCC-5240P CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive (Windows XP)

Okay I am another one of those lucky constestants who own a gateway using a slim CD made by LG Electronics. Does anyone have the driver by: LG Electronics GCC-5240P CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive (Windows XP) ? If I have to register on another driver site that they have it only to find out they "don't" have that driver, I will have to buy a new drive.

I found the attached on DriverGuide at: http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=129874. I don't have any way to test it, but it looks like it is what you're looking for.

okay thanks! but for some bizzar reason (this happens with the 4320B version from LG's same make cd rw thingy) it gets recognized in my CMOS setup as the second master IDE and is considered a (HL DT ST) Mass Data Storage drive instead of a D:\DVD/RW dirve. This gives me a "code 39" driver may be corrupt or missing. As you can imagine I have been chasing my tail downloading zip file after zip, zip.. The original driver I think came from the WINNT area of WIN XP's Home Edition. This all happened when I got that Beagle virus and I had to download Win SP2.
