Licence Code ?

    Can anyone tell me if a Microsoft office key code will be stored on my backup/recovery disc I need to find it?

    Which version of Microsoft Office are you using?

    Use a program like Belarc Advisor, or Produkey and find the COA Product key and then write it down and keep it somewhere safe!
    You can even put it on a sticker on the back up Disk.

    Not a good idea Max! The heat from the drive softens the glue on the sticker and it comes off and sticks in the worst possible places... happened to me!

    This will not work for MS Office 2013 or 2016.
    Only the last 5 characters will be displayed.

    That's a shame, I didn't know that. Let's hope they have the original case if it was installed from a DVD, or an email with the COA if purchased online. But if it is an earlier version they should be fine.
