Attached screenshot of a pc with cpu core temperatures and voltages as presented by Everest and SIV, running simultaneously. Speedfan showed both values.

:-D Is that 810C or 81.0C? Dang Studiot, you have heard of case fans right?:cool

I really wish they would standardize the software temp stuff. I get a different temp from each one! Core Temp seems to be pretty good for Intel stuff. I have tested it as best I can with a temp probe, and it seems pretty close. The others are all over the place, with Everest being the lowest (most dangerous for an overclocker like me!).

Everest may have been the lowest, but it was closest to the values reported in BIOS. Of course I could not get simultaneous values.

If you look carfully at the Winbond ids for the sensors you will note different numbers.

    Note the Intel processor logo.

Speedfan offers both, but notes the possible presence of 'ghost sensors' .

Note also the difference in reported core voltage 1.34 and 1.39 volts.

Both the displayed programs are available from Major Geeks.

    Unwary beware.
