Limewire being disabled

I have been asked this by a friend so i may not know the whole story but here goes.

i have a firewall or AVG disabling limewire. and i cant figure out from where,, i checked my firewall but it is exceptioning, lime wire,, so its not it,, i have anther security system AVG which may be preventing it.. i don't know how to get it off.

I think shes running XP pro but thats all i know when i get more info i will post it but i got to go and call the vet to see how much they will charge to put down a dog for us because of him being hit by a car:cry
