Limewire connection

After running Limewire for the first time it never connects again. It also stops my internet from working completely for a while. I am using windows vista and am connected directly to a modem. No idea whats wrong

 

hmm well i would guess that windows vista's security features are having an issue with limewire...since its limewire...and its Vista so you'll just have to customize those security features more I guess...my friend had a similar issue with torrents, i'll ask him what he did to fix it and get back here...but its worth it in the long run to have security up, as Im sure you know...good luck on finding a solution!
