Limewire Pro will not connect

Hi all,

I did a search for this and one poster had the same problem but got no replies so I'm asking again. I have limewire pro, and when I tried to run it today it just stays at the "starting connection" stage, it has never taken more than a minute to open so I'm wondering if any of you would know what the problem is?

2 things:
1)Check if your software firewall is blocking the program. If you use Windows Firewall (SP2) you will need to create an exception for Limewire.
2)If you have a hardware firewall/router, go to http://www.portforward.com and see which ports Limewire is using. Then unblock them through your router/firewall software.
