limewire

    ok i downloaded limewire and it gives this message.
    "Lime wire was unable to load the java runtime envernment. please download and install the newer vertion at http://www.java.com." and i did that but then it gives this message "The installer can not proceed with the current internet connection porxy settings. please check the installer note for more information." please help me.

    LimeWire Pro is spyware free, as are some versions of LimeWire itself, however I would be wary as Chaslang suggests and assume you are infected.

    There is a program called "Clean LimeWire" which will strip out any spy/adware.

    Another alternative would be to use Winmx, as it's spyware and doesn't use Java.
