Limewire

Okay, so I uninstalled Limewire today, but the little loading screen keeps popping up and I'm kind of concerned. As soon as it's done, it gives me this weird Java message about a report and whatnot, files aren't working, stuff like that. Like I said before, it's really starting to concern me, so any help is appreciated.

 

When does the splash screen pop up?

You say you uninstalled it, have you gone to program files and made sure there are no Limewire folders?

If there is, manually delete it.

 

Whenever I turn on my computer- but it comes up randomly afterwards.

If it's coming up when every time you boot, make sure it's not listed in your startup tab in msconfig (start, run).

 

Well, there was nothing there- and I can't delete the Limewire folder, it says stuff about "somethingorother jar file can't be removed" and there are quite a few jar files in there.

 

Delete the LimeWire folder in Safe Mode, or use Unlocker or Pocket KillBox.
