Limited connection symbol?

After i dowloaded the 2nd hotfix, there is a new icon in the lower right taskbar. It is the local area connection status, and it says it is limited or no connectivity and there is a "yield" sign. Also, now when i connect to the internet (SBC connection manager) it takes ages to establish a PPPoE connection. Any ideas?

You can disable the limited conenction notice under Local Area Connection properties. It happens when you have PPPoE DSL. An APIPA address counts as a limited connection to Windows.

The one with that came with the windows xp built in firewall.

Update your SBC software to the latest version. It has known compatibility issues.

Another option is to make your own PPPoE connection, using the XP software.
