I have recently installed SP2 and when I turn on my high speed modem. It says "little or no connectivity". When I click details it says that this is because a network address has not been assigned to the computer.
I'm not on a network. I can still use the internet, though. Should I worry about this?

P.S. All you geeks kick some serious ass. Your helps is always much appreciated. ;)

    You probably have PPPoE DSL.

    Ignore it.

You can disable the notification if you go to Control panel, Network Connections, then go to the properties of your Local Area Connection.

    Thanks for the help.
I just got up and running again and I've been paranoid about it disconnecting me or something. Must be too much caffeine, I guess.
